She cried out loud
But no one could hear her anguish
In the deluge of water
She was her own company
She knew no friends
Who stood by her
She received nothing but betrayal
From even the guy she loved
Her story was like the middle of a fairy tale
She lived a lonesome life
In the devilish world
That wounded her everyday
Looking at the bird that sang every morning on her window
She asked with eyes full of tears,
“When will the rain fade away?
When there will be warmth of Sun,
will the butterfly of good fortune
bring me some colors?”
She had broken dreams and crushed faiths
For her, the world was laughing
At her failure
At her fate
She grew like an angel in the lap of her dad
But those days were over and she couldn’t look back
Now she was caged
And her wings were taken
By the people she thought were the part of her childhood fable
She married her prince
Who had to save her from evil
But her story was no fantasy
Her prince himself was a Devil
She was blamed for money and the assets she never brought
She was beaten
She was scolded
And asked to leave the job she loved most
She was threatened to give birth to a boy and not girl
She lived in a world
That hated angels
And still she tried her best
To serve the family she was brought in
And every night she was raped
In her own palace by her own Prince
But she couldn’t give up
She had to travel all alone
She decided to walk through challenges
To show to that chauvinistic world
She wasn’t weak
With every lesson world taught her
She became stronger and concrete
And she did, she stood up
With warmth and grace
Facing everything world threw on her face
The disrespects
The betrayals
The shattered dreams and prayers
She proved her worth
Shone like a star
Becoming the protagonist of a new story
She had written for the world
She is the beginning of a fable
Wherein women aren’t merely puppet
They aren’t tied to the strings
And are no more controlled by man’s hands!!!
